Why are you called a Committee?
The founding members of the United German-American Committee wanted to ensure that the rights and independence of both organizational and individual members were not appropriated to the new national structure. The organization is the only German American organization dedicated to working on behalf of all people of German-speaking ancestry.
How are you funded?
The United German-American Committee is a tax exempt 501 (c)3 corporation incorporated in the State of Pennsylvania. Programs are funded through membership dues and contributions. Learn more:

Membership in the United German-American Committee is open to all people interested in promoting friendship and preserving the history of German, Swiss and Austrian immigrants to the United States. To join: click here

Does the United German-American Committee lobby?
